Supporting you in your practice

"Supervision is essential to how practitioners sustain good practice throughout their working life. Supervision provides practitioners with regular and ongoing opportunities to reflect in depth about all aspects of their practice in order to work as effectively, safely and ethically as possible. Supervision also sustains the personal resourcefulness required to undertake the work." (BACP, 2018)

I will aim to work with you in a collaborative, holding and growful way to support you, your clients and your practice, to help ensure you are working ethically, safely and in the best interests of your clients.

In my therapeutic work, I work with an integrative model, which is relational and trauma-formed, grounded in person-centred, psychodynamic, TA and CBT approaches and theory. I work in private practice with a diverse range of individuals and couples. I previously worked at a secondary school supporting pupils (aged 11-18) and staff for three years and at BMKSAASS for four years, supporting those impacted by sexual assault or abuse. I can offer 1-1 supervision sessions in person or online.

“Good supervision is for everyone. It feeds us, and we owe it to ourselves and our clients to have high quality nourishment.” (Adcock, 2020)
